Turn browsers into buyers
I focus on site speed, A/B testing and UX improvements to maximise conversion rates and average order value for brands selling on Shopify.
Shoppers judge books by their covers
If your store feels cheap, slow or dated, people assume your products are too.

Three levers that grow your store
Speed, evidence and continuous craft, working together to lift conversion and average order value.
Every second counts
Get your store under a second so it feels premium and keeps shoppers moving to checkout.
See howA store that keeps on winning
Test the things that move money on your PDP, cart and checkout, ship the winners and bin the rest.
See howA store that only gets better
Fix bugs before they cost sales, keep shipping features and swap bloated apps for lean native code.
See howEvery second counts
Most shoppers abandon a store that takes more than three seconds to load. I get yours under one: Core Web Vitals tuned to the green, the bloat stripped out, every page painting instantly. Fast feels premium, and it keeps customers moving toward checkout instead of bouncing.
- Sub-second loads on mobile
- LCP, INP and CLS all in the green
- Bloat and render-blockers stripped out

A store that keeps on winning
Opinions don't lift conversion, evidence does. I run A/B tests on the things that actually move money, your product page, cart and checkout, ship the winners and bin the rest. Your conversion rate and AOV climb on what's proven, not what's guessed.
- Tests where it counts: PDP, cart, checkout
- Winners shipped, losers dropped
- Conversion and AOV trending up

A store that only gets better
A great store is never finished. I squash bugs before your customers ever hit them, ship new features and integrations continuously, and replace bloated third-party apps with lean native code that's faster, cleaner and fully yours.
- Bugs fixed before they cost you sales
- New features and integrations, always shipping
- Costly apps replaced with native code

This all sounds great, but who are you?
I'm Rob, a senior Shopify developer
I've done speed optimisations, A/B tests and customisations for a range of brands on Shopify across the past 7 years
Seeing stores that have huge potential but are held back by slow agencies, disinterested freelancers or underqualified juniors frustrates me so I'm taking on 2 clients to help them reach their goals
If your store isn't putting out the best impression of your brand or underperforming, I'd love you to work with you to fix it
Some common questions
As little as possible. I'll give you a login for the custom tool, connect it to your store and git repo and you can start adding requests to your board immediately.
No. As much as I love AI, I've worked with it for years and know the mistakes it makes. I steer it like a senior developer would orchestrate a team of juniors. This gives you the best of both worlds: the speed of AI and the quality of a senior developer.
A store that loads fast, runs smoothly and leaves your customers with a feeling of quality that extends to your brand image and bottom line.
I embrace challenges. Anything that is possible in your Shopify theme is within scope.
I currently don't offer complex custom apps. Simple apps that run a script to make your life easier are within scope but larger builds like a filtering app are not.
No, I just do Shopify native.
Most requests (sections, speed fixes, content and layout changes) ship within a day or two. A large code cleanup could take a week depending on the store codebase, but this is rare.
As many as you want. I will prioritise the requests based on your goals and the impact they will have on your store. Expect to get through more tickets than you are used to.
Yes. I work directly in your theme, your repo, your Shopify store, your conventions. Every change is delivered on a private preview link for your approval before it touches the live store.
No. Every change is delivered on a private preview link for your approval before it touches the live store. The only exception is if you're happy for me to push simple changes, like bug fixes or small styling changes, to take more off your plate.
